I am soon going to be making my new Stickk.com commitment contracts for next week, so I am evaluating my current weight vs. bites and figuring my bite plan out for next week!

Below 5 lb Maintenance Range
Still below 5 lb Range, I am increasing my bites by 5 this coming week, starting on Monday.
Monday-Friday (N days): 45 bites
Saturday-Sunday (S days): 55 bites
My daily plan for N days looks like this, I recently started eating breakfast before I exercise
7:30 Start exercising 4 miles
aprox 7 AM- 7:30 AM 7 bites
12- 12:15 PM 14 bites
6 PM or when family eats 24 bites
Total Monday-Friday N days 45 bites
For my Weekends I just eat around 3-4 times whenever I want and then I divide the bites out like I want to (55 bites total)
Counting bites just is such a good portion control system! I can stay in control and still have a Capital S Meal once a month! I am hoping, God willing to go out to eat for date night with dear husband towards the end of March! I look forward to that meal, and yet I am still enjoying all my yummy bites in between there!
You're doing great! I've been averaging about 82 or 83 bites a day for the last two weeks and allowed myself one planned cheat event on Sunday (movie popcorn, no butter). Last week I lost 1.2 pounds, but this week I'm more or less maintaining so far (official weekly weigh-in is on Monday). If I don't lose, I'm going to either have to drop bites, or try to take smaller bites. My 80ish bites have been pretty big, but I do eat fruits and vegetables every day, which helps to balance out the average number of calories per bite. Still, I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm going to have to change something in order to lose.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Sounds like you are doing good as well. You could try lowering your bites by 5 for a week and see if the scale budges, for example if you are eating 83 bites a day, you could try 77 or 78 bites :)
ReplyDeleteReally enjoying your site. I have tried the 80 bites program before and it helped me to lose 10#. Then I feel off the wagon, and now I need to lose closer to 20#. I hate counting calories and limiting bites does seem to be easy and get the job done. I might need to go less than 80 to reach my goal.
